Abstract
This publication brought out on the occasionof the completion of 60 years of the WorldHealth Organization in the South-East AsiaRegion, is a compilation of some highlights ofWHO’s work in the Region over the last sixdecades. Covering a broad cancas of activities,the publication attempts to follow the evolutionof the health priorities in Member countries ofthe Region.Despite its large population, poverty andheavy diseases burden the Region has achievedsome remarkable breakthroughs in healthdevelopment and successfully addressedformidable challenges.Visually driven, the publication gives readersa glimpse of the diversity of health challengesand the innovative actions initiated incollaboration with Member countries to addressthem.Citation
