Blood Transfusion Services in South-East Asia Region. A 5-year review

Abstract
Through its Blood and Transfusion Safety programme, WHO supports countries in strengthening national blood systems to ensure timely access to safe and sufficient supplies of blood and blood products based on voluntary unpaid blood donation to achieve universal health coverage. This report is based on Blood Transfusion services data (2011-2015) obtained from WHO Global Database on Blood Safety (GDBS) and intends to help National blood transfusion services in reviewing their achievements/gaps in order to further strengthen the National Blood Tranfusion Services.Citation
