Abstract
Better Labs for Better Health was launched by World Health Organization (‎WHO)‎ Regional Office for Europe in 2012. It supports all laboratories and advocates for the improvement of health through the provision of timely and accurate results that are trusted by the user and through early detection of acute public health events. Better Labs assists countries with laboratory reform with an emphasis on efficiency, rationalization, provision of human resources and overall laboratory capacity. To boost international networking and collaboration, the European Regional Laboratory Task Force (‎Lab Task Force)‎ was established in 2018 with a focus on effective emergency preparedness and response to high-threat pathogens (‎HTP)‎.
