The WHO European Subregional Meeting of National Immunization Programme Managers (PMM) for Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan was held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on 27–29 September 2022; the meeting for Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine was held in Tbilisi, Georgia, on 15–17 November 2022; the meeting for Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Kosovo[1] was held in Belgrade, Serbia, on 1–3 November 2022; and the meeting for the rest of the countries in the Region was held on 3–4 May 2023 in Izmir, Türkiye. The meetings offered participants the opportunity to interact with each other and WHO staff to chart the way forward on the implementation of the European Immunization Agenda 2030, discuss challenges with COVID-19 vaccination, and discuss and share country-specific experiences on specific immunization topics. Following the subregional PMMs in Uzbekistan, Serbia and Georgia, a one-day meeting was held for immunization programme managers and members of national technical advisory groups of experts on immunization.Citation
