It would be difficult to propose a system for histopathology and anatomical pathology services applicable to all developing countries. This book therefore introduces the basic equipment and techniques needed in any pathology laboratory and stresses the fundamental principles of specimen identification, fixation and integrity, which must be maintained at all levels
